Each month, FedEx is one of the top 10 search topics in the Finance Division Knowledge Base. Procurement & Business Services and the MarketPlace team manage nearly 1,000 individual FedEx Shipper profiles for the university. Recently, it was discovered that the master shipping account had been compromised.
To secure our master shipping account, a new FedEx account number was created and all active FedEx Shippers were transitioned to a more secure environment. For this transition, all FedEx Shippers received a generic password which, once activated, would prompt the shipper to create a new password of their choosing.
If you find you have lost your FedEx Shipping access, here are the steps to reset your access:
OPTION 1:
- Log into FedEx.com using your username and the generic password emailed to you on July 1, 2022.
- Reset the generic password immediately.
OPTION 2:
Contact your SAR Administrator to be granted the MarketPlace Shipper role.
