Recently on campus, you may have noticed the Surplus and Warehouse Services trucks are sporting a new refreshed logo. Our logo – in just a few words – makes what we do more recognizable.
WHAT We Do
- Deliver freight that the large tractor trailers cannot deliver
- Pick up and drop-off departmental storage
- Pick up surplus property items
We Repurpose, Reuse and Recycle the surplus materials picked up from campus departments.
HOW We Do It
We sell surplus property items to university departments, certified non-profit organizations, other state agencies, and the public. Some items do not sell but have harvest and/or recycle value.
Department of Health and Human Service, North Carolina Highway Patrol, Department of Motor Fleet Management are just a few of the state agencies that purchase surplus office furniture and computers. The picture to the right is a lobby area most of the items in the photo are from the NC State University surplus store.
