WolfPrint is NC State’s official personal printing service, available to anyone with a valid Unity ID and an active WolfPack One card.
Method 1: Lab Printing with WolfPrint
This first method allows faculty and staff to print from desktop devices available in public computer labs to any of the WolfPrint FollowMe printers without the need to use their personal device. There are nearly 100 printers conveniently located across campus. To find a printer near you, visit go.ncsu.edu/printers.

Method 2: Mobility Print
The Mobility Print tool allows printing from your device, on campus or off campus, using any software application without limitations. To use this functionality, perform the one-time step to add the printer to your device while on the NC State network (Eduroam, NC State Wi-Fi or the VPN if you are remote). Submit your print job as usual, selecting the appropriate queue. Lastly, visit the site location selected within 12 hours to release your job.
When visiting the site to pick up the print job, users can scan the QR code using the camera functionality of their smartphone to release the print job – touch-free. Alternatively, users can release their print jobs by swiping their all-campus card or entering their unity credentials manually.
WolfPrint offers a variety of convenient and accessible printing solutions for the NC State community, ensuring that printing is quick, easy and efficient no matter where you are. Whether you’re using a public lab printer or printing from your personal device utilizing the Mobility Print tool, there are flexible options to meet your needs. Remember to pick up your print jobs promptly.
