Procurement and Business Services has been working diligently to develop learning resources to assist solicitation evaluation committees with conducting evaluations. Procurement Services began a partnership in 2014 with a third-party strategic sourcing software provider, Bonfire, to modernize and enhance the evaluation process for competitive solicitations. Using the Bonfire platform has allowed NC State to transition from a paper-based evaluation to a centralized digital evaluation process. This transition has streamlined and created a consistent process for conducting fair, transparent and unbiased evaluations. In addition, it has fostered NC State’s mission of maintaining security and compliance.
The Solicitation Evaluation Guide
The Solicitation Evaluation Guide will assist evaluation teams in maintaining accountability and consistency while increasing efficiencies while evaluating a competitive solicitation.
To provide quick access to Bonfire, Procurement Services added a Procurement Solicitations link to MyPack Portal. This link can be accessed as follows:
- From MyPack Portal, click on the NavBar.
- Click on Menu.
- Click on Financial Systems.
- Click on Procurement.
- Click on Procurement Solicitations.
