Did you know that you can unreconcile PCard transactions? Yes, as long as this is corrected on the same business day when the transaction was marked as reconciled and saved, you can unreconcile transactions to correct Project ID and account code distribution errors. The PCard Manual for Reconcilers lists step-by-step instructions for this process.
We recommend making corrections to distribution errors right away. Once the distribution choices have been posted overnight, a journal entry will be needed to make the correction to make distribution changes or split charges with other departments. You may also learn about the difference between a journal voucher (JV) and an interdepartmental transaction (IDT).
