Procurement and Business Services has undergone some reorganization after saying goodbye to Blain Woods, who retired from the role of Assistant Director of Procurement Services this year. We are pleased to announce that Chanelle Corpening, who previously served as the Strategic Sourcing Analyst, has been promoted to the role of Assistant Director of MarketPlace and Commodities. She will continue to ensure the efficient operation of the MarketPlace. In her new capacity, Chanelle will assume responsibility for the procurement of goods and commodities, which includes both MarketPlace and Non-MarketPlace purchase orders.
Additionally, Hays Poole, formerly the Contract Review Specialist, has been appointed Assistant Director of Contracts and Services. Hays will now oversee the procurement process for services, including the management of requests for proposals (RFPs) and purchase orders for services. These expanded roles are designed to ensure a seamless procurement experience for all services.
In support of these changes, we encourage all staff to continue utilizing the Finance Division Knowledge Base for guidance on any and every procurement process. The Knowledge Base contains a wealth of resources, including links to Procurement, Contract and Marketplace manuals, as well as video tutorials and other external resources. As always, our team is available to assist with all of your department’s procurement needs.
