10th Annual MarketPlace Expo Delivers Hybrid Experience

This year, the 10th Annual MarketPlace Expo took place during the month of November. In addition to celebrating a 10-year milestone, this was also a unique event because, for the first time, it was offered in a hybrid format, allowing MarketPlace suppliers and campus customers to participate either in person, virtually, or both.

In-Person Experience

The in-person event took place at the McKimmon Center on November 11. With 40 suppliers and 309 campus customers in attendance, the in-person event generated excitement by giving suppliers and customers the opportunity to interact again in a face-to-face setting.

Virtual Platform

The Virtual MarketPlace Expo took place November 15 – 30 through a new platform that allowed customers to browse through suppliers’ catalogs, watch informational videos, drop a virtual business card, or send a direct message to the supplier. Over the two-week period, 336 campus customers participated in the virtual expo.

Where is Byron?

Byron McAdams, Purchasing Category Manager for Procurement Services, has been the face of the MarketPlace Expo for the past few years. Byron’s kindness and great sense of humor make him a great addition to this annual event. Have you spotted him in the Event Photos

Thank You!

The MarketPlace Team wants to thank suppliers and campus customers for participating and supporting this annual event.

See you next year!
